Shipping technology firms ZeroNorth and Alpha Ori Technologies have successfully merged, receiving regulatory approvals for the integration under the brand ZeroNorth. The combined company, headquartered in Copenhagen, will be led by ZeroNorth’s CEO Soren Mayer. With a focus on ship optimization software, the company serves more than 4,500 vessels from 200 companies. The merger will see Alpha Ori Technologies’ expertise in IoT sensors and high-frequency data integrated into ZeroNorth’s capabilities, providing services such as resource management, predictive maintenance, hull performance monitoring, voyage optimization, digitalized bunker operations, and emission reporting.

ZeroNorth CEO, Soren Mayer, expressed enthusiasm for the merger, stating that it will accelerate the impact on the shipping and maritime value chain. He highlighted the partnership’s potential to support customers’ economic and environmental strategic goals.
